My background spans visual design and creative work for national magazines, major consumer brands, non-profits, and several successful Bay Area startups.

I capture what I see, embracing an editorial tradition shared by photographers of old. I avoid “heartless retouching” and AI manipulation because good photos endure when subjects remain recognizable through character. I look for the marks of experience and the lines that come from living.

I live in San Francisco with my wife (my favorite model) and my teenage son, who runs at the first sight of my camera.
